Peluso P-49 is a large-diaphragm tube microphone built around the legendary Neumann M49 circuit, known for the smooth, vintage tone heard on countless classic vocal recordings.

Remote Pattern Changes Without Leaving the Console

Nine polar patterns, from omni to figure-8, switch remotely from the power supply — engineers can match the pattern to the room and source mid-session without touching the mic hanging over the vocalist.

A 5744WB Tube and Transformer Building the Classic Tone

A 34mm capsule paired with a 5744WB vacuum tube and Peluso's own output transformer delivers the smooth, lightly warmed character typical of classic 1950s German designs, while retaining modern stability and low noise.

The design is based on the original 1950s Neumann M49 schematic, but uses modern, more stable power-supply components, reducing the microphonics risk typical of the oldest vintage units.
