Overstayer 8755DM-LI

Overstayer 8755DM-LI is the 8755DM modular channel without the microphone preamp, keeping the full processing section unchanged — for studios that want the 8755's character at the mix and mastering stage rather than for tracking.

Same Architecture, Different Entry Point

Instead of an XLR mic input, the 8755DM-LI accepts line and instrument-level signal straight from a DAW or console, feeding into the same synth-style filters, two-band EQ with presence section, and VCA compressor found in the DM version.

Three Saturation Stages on the Mix Bus

Cascadable MAS, Sat, and Hex stages plus a three-channel mixing matrix (dry/compressor/saturation) let you add analog character to vocal tracks, drums, or a full mix — without paying for a preamp you wouldn't use in this application anyway.

The same Helios Type69-inspired preamp lineage remains part of the unit's design DNA, even though the LI version has no physical mic input to use it for tracking.
