Novation FLkey 2 61 is a five-octave, semi-weighted MIDI keyboard controller — the flagship of the second-generation FLkey 2 range, developed in official collaboration with Image-Line exclusively for FL Studio. With 61 keys, nine faders, eight encoders, 16 polyphonic aftertouch pads, and an OLED display, it forms a complete hardware interface for music production without reaching for a mouse.
Five octaves and full mixer control in one place
Nine precision faders with dedicated buttons auto-map to FL Studio's Mixer channel levels — direct level control with no interruption to the creative flow. Eight rotary encoders simultaneously cover the active plugin's key parameters: FM operators in Sytrus, the Image module in Harmor, filters and effects in the Mixer, all without any manual setup. The OLED display feeds back the name and value of whichever parameter is currently being adjusted, in real time. Dedicated transport buttons, Undo/Redo, Score Log, Pattern/Song toggle, and a metronome button keep the session running without breaking hand position. Sixteen RGB pads with polyphonic aftertouch handle finger drumming across FPC, SliceX, and Fruity Slicer, while Sequencer mode maps them directly to the Step Sequencer in the Channel Rack. Scale mode locks the keyboard to a chosen scale, Fixed Chord triggers full voicings from a single key, Chord Maps fires complete progressions from the pads, and the advanced arpeggiator generates and modifies sequences in real time. Keyboard Split and Layer modes divide the keybed into two independent zones or stack two sounds for simultaneous playback. The full-size 5-pin MIDI Out port connects hardware synthesizers and external MIDI devices directly. Mackie HUI support enables use with any other DAW, and Novation Components handles custom parameter mapping for VST plugins and external hardware.KEY FEATURES
