Millennia STT-1 Origin is a single-channel Class A recording chain in one 19-inch chassis: microphone preamp, four-band parametric EQ and optical compressor/limiter. Every stage has two signal paths, a vacuum tube one and a discrete solid-state one, and you switch between them by button.
One channel, many tonal options
The preamp section offers the M-2B tube design or the HV-3 discrete design. The EQ is built from twin NSEQ-2 mastering-grade equalizers, and the dynamics section gives you three opto paths: TCL tube, discrete solid-state and passive. Millennia quotes over 130 usable signal-path combinations, so the same vocal chain can be re-voiced for a ballad and for a rock track without patching anything.
DI and line inputs included
Besides the mic input the STT-1 has an instrument DI input and two line-level inputs, so it works for bass, guitar, synths and as a mix-bus processor.
