Millennia HV-35P is the HV-35 preamp in a standalone portable case with a line supply included. It runs from mains or from a 12 to 15 V DC battery, so the same HV-3 circuit used in 500 Series racks can go to a location shoot, a rehearsal room or a desktop setup.
A tracking channel with instrument input
The front panel has an instrument input, continuously variable gain, an 80 Hz roll-off filter, 48 V phantom power, a pad and a polarity flip. In ribbon mode the DC-coupled path adds 10 dB, so gain reaches 70 dB for low-output ribbon microphones.
Clean output level
Maximum output is +28 dBu and equivalent input noise is -130 dB, with a response from below 10 Hz to above 200 kHz. That gives a single channel of transparent gain for vocals, acoustic guitar or a DI signal.
