Millennia HV-35 is a single-channel microphone preamp for API-compatible 500 Series racks, built on the transformerless discrete HV-3 circuit. It combines a continuously variable gain control with the switches you need on a busy tracking day, all on a single-slot front panel.
One slot for mics, ribbons and instruments
A front-panel instrument input lets you record bass or guitar without a separate DI box. A DC-coupled ribbon mode adds a 10 dB gain boost for low-output ribbon microphones, taking the maximum gain from 60 dB to 70 dB. An 80 Hz roll-off filter, 48 V phantom power, a pad and a polarity flip complete the front panel.
Low noise, wide bandwidth
Equivalent input noise is -130 dB, and frequency response runs from below 10 Hz to above 200 kHz. That leaves room for quiet acoustic sources and transient-heavy instruments.
