Majella MVCF-I

Majella MVCF-I is a fully analog 12dB/octave voltage-controlled filter in a compact 6HP enclosure, switchable between lowpass and highpass modes — without the compromises typical of multi-mode filters in this format.

An Input Gain Stage That Becomes Its Own Source of Distortion

Manual input gain control engages soft clipping past the halfway point of the knob's travel — instead of a separate saturation circuit, the MVCF-I uses the filter's own input stage to add character before the signal even reaches the cutoff section.

Resonance That Self-Oscillates Into a Sound Source

Voltage-controlled resonance self-oscillates at high settings, turning the filter into a simple sine oscillator — useful both as a tonal effect and as an extra sound source in a larger patch.
