Multitrack recording without the bottlenecks
The 18x4 USB multitrack mode lets you record every input channel simultaneously as a separate track in your DAW at 24-bit/96 kHz. Stereo recording directly to SD card works independently of any computer – just hit record and go. The four-track USB return (two stereo pairs) routes DAW playback back into the mixer's channel strips for real-time monitoring and re-amping. Dedicated hardware buttons – Previous, Next, Record, Play/Pause – combined with the full-color display keep SD card management fast and hands-on.
EQ, effects and flexible routing in a single unit
The Perkins "British Style" EQ – a 3-band design with sweepable mid and hard bypass switch – is built around the Wien Bridge circuit topology originally developed by Mackie's Cal Perkins, inspired by the classic British consoles of the 1960s and '70s. The ±15 dB range with a wide, musical Q gives it a character that generic mixers in this bracket simply can't replicate. The DSP effects engine covers reverb, delay, chorus and more, with storage for 6 user presets and a dedicated FX EQ. Hi-Z switching on channels 1 and 2 allows direct guitar and bass connection without a DI box. All XLR inputs carry a 100 Hz high-pass filter and +48 V phantom power.
