Looptrotter Satur-8/24

Looptrotter Satur-8/24 is a 24-channel Class-A summing mixer with eight channels of solid-state saturation built in. This is not another transparent summing box, it is meant to add the character of tape-era analog consoles to a mix run out of the DAW.

Summing that adds character instead of just adding up

The summing stage combines operational amplifiers with active and passive voltage summing, and an additional “Magic” module adds warmth and clarity in the midrange. All eight input channels run through a discrete transistor preamp in pure Class-A, so material picks up analog density before it even reaches the saturation stage, not just on the way out.

Eight saturation channels you can use on their own

Each of the eight saturation modules has its own direct output, so the Satur-8/24 doubles as an eight-channel saturator for individual tracks, instrument groups, or full stems, whether or not you are using it for summing at that moment. LEDs marking 4% and 8% THD on every channel show saturation level with full control instead of guesswork.
