Kurzweil M215 BK is a digital home piano in a black finish, centred on an 88-key H1 Ivory GT graded hammer-action keyboard with four resistance zones across the range. Ivory-textured white keys and wood-textured black keys cut down finger slip and bring the tactile response closer to an acoustic grand. The black cabinet works equally well against a living room wall, in a home studio rack setup, or on a rehearsal room floor — it draws no attention to itself and lets the playing do the work.

KORE 2.1 is a 2 GB library built from the same German 9-foot grand piano samples used in the K2700 and SP7 Grand — not a stripped-down version of it. The 24 factory programs extend to electric pianos, organs and strings, all voiced to track the graded action's dynamic range correctly. At 256-note polyphony, there is no ceiling worth worrying about: sustained bass notes, active right-hand lines and layered patches coexist without voice-stealing. Split, Layer and Duo modes with an adjustable split point cover full arrangements from a single keyboard.
One USB cable, two functions
Connect the M215 BK to a Mac or PC via USB and it registers in the DAW as both a class-compliant audio interface and a MIDI controller — no drivers, no second device needed. Bluetooth 5.2 runs audio streaming and MIDI in parallel: pair a tablet for a practice app or backing track playback directly through the built-in 2 x 15 W stereo system. The forward-facing I/O panel under the keyboard keeps all connections — headphones, L/R outputs, 1/8" stereo input — accessible from the front without tilting or lifting the instrument. Two 1/4" headphone outputs support simultaneous monitoring for teacher-student sessions.
