KRK V6 Series Five is an active monitor built around a six-and-a-half-inch woofer — the size that makes more sense in most home and project rooms than an eight. It reaches down to 40 Hz without lifting the response and without demanding half a metre of clearance from the wall.
The compromise that usually pays off
Six and a half inches goes low enough to judge kick and bass, yet does not excite the room the way an eight does. If you mix in a space under twenty square metres, this is usually the size that gives the most predictable result. The response is linear, so what you hear translates to other systems.
Tuned for the desk you actually have
25 boundary and tuning presets let you set the monitor for its real position: close to a wall, on the desk, in a corner. Harder rooms get seven parametric filters and delay on top, all configured from the app over the KRK Mesh network, with no need to reach around the back.
