Kemper Profiler Set: PowerHead and Remote – a bundle comprising the lunchbox-format PROFILER PowerHead profiling amplifier with a built-in 600W power amp and the PROFILER Remote foot controller.
The PowerHead runs the same profiling engine as the rest of the PROFILER line - a section with six fixed effects and four flexible modules ahead of the AMP/CABINET section, plus two fixed and four flexible stereo effects after it - complemented by a Class-D power amp designed by Denmark's ICEpower, delivering 600W at 8 Ω or 300W at 16 Ω. The PROFILER Remote connects to the head via a Neutrik etherCON connector, and with a powered Ethernet hub the distance between the two units can stretch beyond 100 meters.
A power amp you can switch off for studio work
The built-in power amp can be disengaged at any time, turning the powered head into a line-level unit suited for studio work or a direct connection to an audio interface. The PowerHead's format, smaller and lighter than the rackmount PowerRack, lets you set the unit directly on top of a guitar cabinet in the classic head-on-cab layout, without needing a separate rack case to transport.
