Kali Audio MV-BT — a Bluetooth input module with balanced XLR and TRS outputs, aptX and AAC codec support, and independent volume control, adding wireless connectivity to any professional monitoring setup.

The MV-BT receives audio over Bluetooth at CD quality (16-bit/44.1kHz) using the aptX codec on most devices and AAC on iOS hardware, then passes the signal on through balanced XLR or TRS outputs. Unlike typical consumer Bluetooth receivers with an unbalanced mini-jack output, the MV-BT feeds directly into studio-grade inputs without losing quality over longer cable runs. An additional 3.5mm input on the side handles older devices without Bluetooth, though the wired and wireless inputs are mutually exclusive.

Reference listening from a phone without a tangle of adapters

Checking a mix on a client's phone, or playing a reference track from Tidal or Spotify, usually means a mini-jack adapter of questionable quality, or physically unplugging the monitors from the interface. The MV-BT solves this with a single pairing button under the Kali logo — the unit shows up in Bluetooth settings as "Kali MV-BT," and the connection holds CD quality with no extra cables between the phone and the system.

Independent volume control without touching the source

Playing audio straight from a phone or laptop usually means adjusting volume through the device's own slider, which limits digital signal resolution at low levels. The large, weighted volume knob on the front of the MV-BT works independently of the source device's volume — you can leave the phone at full volume and dial in the output level precisely on the module itself, with an LED ring showing the current setting.
