K&M Roughline 2 is a low microphone stand from the line König & Meyer built for the Polish market. The 425 to 625 mm range puts the capsule exactly where it belongs when you mic a guitar cabinet, a floor tom or an instrument played seated.
A full-height stand always gets in the way here
Setting a full-size stand low means a shaft extended far out, a tilt, and legs in the player's path. A low stand solves that structurally: the centre of gravity sits near the floor and the microphone holds position even when someone catches a cable. For electric guitar and bass cabinets it is the tool you reach for most.
It keeps the setting between takes
The joint is permanently fixed to the shaft and a clamping nut with a pin is included — once the angle is set, the microphone does not drift between passes. The rubberised clamping sleeve lets you correct height smoothly, without yanking and without loosening the whole assembly.
