Intech Studio Grid Series 3 VSN1 (screen right) is a modular USB MIDI controller from the third-generation Grid line, combining an LCD display, a high-precision jog wheel, and Hall effect switches in a compact aluminium enclosure measuring 107 x 107 x 38 mm. The GRID3-VSN1-R variant places the screen on the right side of the panel.

The 320 x 240 px display with wide viewing angles is fully programmable via the Lua API in Grid Editor. You can show parameter values, custom widgets, sliders, level meters, or bank names directly on the controller, removing the need to look away from your instrument or hardware. Four tactile buttons below the screen handle page navigation or act as assignable shortcuts. Every parameter change is confirmed visually on the unit itself – a direct solution to the blind-operation problem common with conventional MIDI controllers.
Jog Wheel and Hall Effect Switches – Precise and Expressive
The endless high-precision jog wheel is well suited to DAW timeline scrubbing, synth parameter tuning, or navigation in video and generative software. Eight Gateron Hall effect switches with MX-style stems track the full travel of each keypress, not just the closure point, which opens up pressure-to-CC, pressure-to-velocity, and other continuous mappings. The magnetic modular connector lets you attach additional Grid modules in any direction, with the entire chain powered and handled over a single USB-C cable.
