The TONEX Board extends the concept introduced by the TONEX and TONEX ONE pedals into a complete, standalone floorboard rig. AI Machine Modeling technology reproduces the sound, feel, and dynamic response of real amps, cabinets, and pedals, and the dual-signal-chain architecture runs up to two Tone Models per path across two independent paths — up to four models total in one preset. The unit ships with 76 effects across nine categories (51 from AmpliTube 5, 15 from TONEX, and 10 brand-new), up to 12 effect slots per preset, and VIR cabinet modeling technology with custom IR loading support.
Two independent signal paths instead of one effects chain
A common problem with single-path modeling processors: building a stereo rig, a wet/dry configuration, or a dual-amp setup requires routing compromises or extra external hardware. The TONEX Board addresses this with two fully independent signal paths and flexible split-and-mix routing, supporting stereo operation, wet/dry configurations, and modeling two different amps simultaneously — functionality that a flat, single-path architecture would require working around.
Full integration into any stage rig
Musicians moving from a classic tube amp to a digital processor often run into incompatible connection methods — no support for the 4-cable method, or too few outputs to feed FOH and a stage amp at once. The TONEX Board has two independent stereo output pairs (including balanced XLR), two effects-loop insert points, and full 4-cable method support, letting the unit integrate with either an FRFR system or a classic tube combo without sacrificing routing flexibility.
