IK Multimedia ARC ON•EAR – the world’s first standalone headphone correction device, combining studio-quality D/A conversion, headphone calibration and room simulation in a portable hardware unit. It eliminates tonal imbalance and restores natural spatial cues without the need for plugins, software hosts or DAW routing. With up to five user presets, ARC ON•EAR ensures consistent, speaker-like reference sound across more than 250 supported headphone models, making it a powerful solution for mixing, producing and listening on the go.
At its core, ARC ON•EAR uses the ES9290 DAC with 116 dB dynamic range and −110 dB THD+N, paired with a digitally controlled analog volume stage to preserve full resolution at any listening level. The 200 mW headphone amplifier delivers clean power even for demanding studio headphones. Its psychoacoustic crossfeed and early-reflection algorithms create a believable stereo image comparable to well-tuned studio monitors, allowing accurate spatial and tonal decisions. Built in a compact aluminum housing, with USB-C and analog 3.5 mm inputs, rechargeable battery (up to 4 h) and included carrying case, ARC ON•EAR is designed for professional mobility and reliability.
