Heritage Audio Super 8

Heritage Audio Super 8 is an 8 Channel Transformer Class A MIC Preamp & Premium ADC, with 8 x XLR Inputs, 8 x XLR Outputs, 3 x DB25 (D-SUB) connectors, ADAT/SMUX, AES/SPDIF, World Clock In/Out, rackmountable.

The microphone preamp Super 8 is equipped with eight microphone/line/instrument preamps in the style of 73 and a 24-bit/192 kHz converter in a 2U rackmount. All 8 channels have individual buttons and switches for 48V, LINE, PHASE, and LoCut (-3 dB at 80 Hz). The first 3 channels also feature LO-Z buttons to change the input impedance from 1200 Ω to 300 Ω, PAD buttons to reduce the input sensitivity by -20 dB, JFET D.I. circuits, and LoCut filters.

• Microphone input impedance only channels 1 & 2: High=1200 Ω minimum; Low=300 Ω minimum. Higher gain positions gradually have greater impedances, optimum for low gain ribbon mics. Input is transformer balanced and floating.
