Heritage Audio HA-81A Elite is a Channel Strip with a 73-style microphone preamp with a pad, a 4-band 81-style EQ with dual-adjustable Q on the mids, low-pass/high-pass filters, a 20Hz-20kHz frequency range, analog 1 x XLR (mic), 1 x XLR (line), 1 x 1/4” (Hi-Z) inputs, analog 1 x XLR output, polarity switch, 1U rack size, and a power supply included.

HA-81A Elite combines a discrete Class A microphone preamp with up to 80dB of gain with an EQ inspired by the legendary Neve 81. The amp uses Carnhill and St. Ives input and output transformers for a warm and powerful sound. The preamp section allows adjustment of gain, output level, pad engagement, polarity switching, and +48V phantom power. The EQ section features 4-band control with musical tonal color based on the coil with high-pass and low-pass filters. It provides the ability to choose between Shelf and Bell, set dual Q on both mid bands, isolate high and low mids, and 30 extra frequency options.
