Blending two sources with full phase control
Combining a pickup and a microphone on one instrument often causes phase problems and a smeared sound. The FELiX2 has two independent channels with blending capability, and built-in variable phase control on channel 2 lets you bring a mic/pickup system to full phase coherence. Three input impedance settings on each channel (Ch1: 10K, 1M, 10M; Ch2: 332K, 1M, 20M) match the preamp to a wide range of pickups — piezo, magnetic and active — preserving the instrument's natural character.
Precise EQ and extensive I/O on stage
Unruly instruments and difficult room acoustics demand surgical control over the frequency range. Each channel has an independent EQ with Low and High shelving plus a parametric mid in two ranges (70-880 Hz / 670 Hz-8 kHz), and a sweepable high-pass filter 20 Hz-1 kHz at 12 dB/octave, switchable to notch mode, hunts down feedback and rumble. Two transformer-isolated DI outputs can be sent as a mix or separate channels to FOH, a stereo amp output drives a stage rig, and a stereo FX loop plus a tuner output active when muted round out stage needs.
