Erica Synths 2 x 84HP skiff case with integrated PSU horizontal side panels (EU plug) is a full aluminium eurorack enclosure holding two rows of 84 HP, with the power supply built in and horizontal side panels. At 57 mm deep it sits in skiff territory, the format designed around shallow modules.
168 HP that actually fits on a desk
A standard 6U case carries so much space behind the panel that it grows into a flight case and stops being something you put next to a keyboard. This one goes the other way: 57 mm of depth across two 84 HP rows gives 168 HP of mounting space inside a 461 x 270 mm footprint. Most skiff-format modules from the major builders fit, since the clearance behind the panel is 42 mm over the PCB and 33 mm over the PSU brick on the right-hand side. Check the depth of your own modules before ordering: the limit is 45 mm.
Power you do not have to source separately
The Erica Synths supply is built into the case and delivers 1.25 A per rail, 2.5 A in total. That is headroom for digital modules with screens, not only for current-frugal VCOs. Distribution runs through two busboards with nine sockets each, so eighteen modules connect without splitters or adapters. The mounting rails are aluminium in Erica Synths’ own profile. The EU plug version needs no adapter on a European socket, and the horizontal side panels give the case a lower, flatter stance than the version with vertical panels.
