Darkglass Alpha Omega – a powerful distortion and preamp pedal for electric bass, designed in collaboration with Jon Stockman. This compact unit delivers two distinct distortion circuits, Alpha and Omega, which can be continuously blended for a broad palette of aggressive tones. The pedal also features a 3-band active EQ and a balanced XLR DI output, making it ideal for both stage and studio use.
The Alpha circuit offers tight and defined overdrive, while the Omega circuit unleashes massive, saturated distortion. Use the Mod control to blend between the two, and the Drive knob to adjust overall gain. The Blend control mixes in the clean signal to preserve low-end clarity and punch. The 3-band EQ is enhanced by Growl and Bite switches that emphasize low and high frequencies respectively, providing even more tonal shaping capabilities.
Equipped with a ground-liftable XLR DI output, the Alpha Omega is ready for professional applications. Its rugged aluminum chassis ensures durability, and it operates via an external power adapter (not included).
