At the heart of the instrument is a single oscillator working alongside a white noise source, complemented by a resonant multi-mode filter and a powerful digital distortion section featuring downsampling and overdrive. This architecture allows for the creation of textures ranging from clean and punchy to extremely distorted and glitched. The built-in innovative randomness-based sequencer (Random Step Mod and Random Skips) enables the creation of evolving, polyrhythmic phrases that can be looped in sequences from 2 to 32 steps long. Thanks to the external audio input, the Metal Fetishist can also act as a unique effects processor for other instruments.

With the latest 2.0 firmware, the instrument gains even more capabilities, introducing an optional second oscillator, new spatial and modulation effects, as well as full MIDI support.
