BeesNeez B87i

BeesNeez B87i is a tribute to the classic late-1960s Neumann U87i: a Beesneez K87 capsule, three patterns (cardioid, omni, figure-8), and an internally switchable -10dB pad and low-cut filter.

The same idea as the U87i, 3dB quieter

An in-house High Mu Toroid transformer (9.5:1 ratio) keeps the low end warm and the top end silky, and self-noise of 12dB-A runs roughly 3dB lower than the original U87i, a difference you'll notice on quiet sources and ambient recordings.
