37 keys and 2×4 pad layout – what the black version adds over the MiniLab 3

The MiniLab 3 has 25 keys and pads in a single row. The MiniLab 37 adds 12 keys – a full octave – enabling two-handed playing without frequent transposition. The RGB pads are rearranged into a 2×4 layout, increasing the target surface with less hand movement. The mini display at the centre of the panel shows the active preset name when working with Analog Lab; the clickable browsing knob scrolls through sounds without leaving the keyboard position. The pads carry both velocity and pressure sensitivity, enabling pressure-sensitive control in pad mode. Two banks of 8 pads provide 16 independent assignments without switching away from performance mode.

DAW integration, MIDI out and included software

Predefined DAW presets cover 8 major environments: Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, Bitwig, Reason, Pro Tools, and Digital Performer. MCU protocol delivers DAW Transport Control in any MCU-compatible DAW without manual configuration. Up to 5 user presets store custom mappings for specific projects or instruments. The control input handles sustain, expression, or footswitch pedals. Low power consumption allows operation from an Apple iPad with a camera connection kit. Included software: Analog Lab Intro, Ableton Live Lite, Native Instruments Komplete 15 Select (Select Beats, Select Band, or Select Electronic), a 2-month Loopcloud subscription with 2 free sample packs, and an unlimited Melodics trial subscription.
