Native Instruments Maschine+ 3.3.1 – the latest update brings full support for Maschine 3 in standalone mode! This long-awaited upgrade takes production and live performance to an entirely new level. Users now benefit from new features, improved performance, and deeper integration with the NI ecosystem.
Main new features
The Maschine+ 3.3.1 update introduces support for Kontakt 8, new effects, and the Bounce-in-Place function, which allows resource-heavy instruments to be converted into audio tracks, saving CPU power while keeping creativity intact. Also added is Custom Chords, letting you create your own chord sets directly on Maschine+. Users can now assign separate tempos to individual song sections and import/export files in MP3, MP4, FLAC, and OGG formats.
Kontakt 8 and new sounds
The biggest addition is full integration with Kontakt 8 and Play Series support. This massively expands the sound palette, allowing access to high-quality instrument libraries in standalone mode. The built-in bass synthesizer has also been upgraded with a second oscillator, refined detune options, and glide tools.

Better hardware integration
Maschine+ 3.3.1 now fully supports Kontrol S-Series MK3 controllers and the NKS2 protocol with Massive. Moreover, Ableton Link now works via USB, making integration with other setups much smoother. CPU performance has been optimized and parameter handling runs more fluidly.
Availability and price
The update is available as a paid upgrade starting at €29, with a full package including extra instruments and effects priced at €69. This clearly shows that Native Instruments continues to develop Maschine+ as a forward-looking standalone platform.
Summary
With version 3.3.1, Maschine+ becomes an even more powerful tool for producers and performers. Performance is improved, workflow expanded, and users gain access to new instruments and effects. It’s a major step forward for the entire Maschine community.
