British PMC (The Professional Monitor Company) is a reference choice for demanding engineers and producers worldwide - from broadcast environments like the BBC to top-tier music production. Founded in 1991 by Peter Thomas and Adrian Loader, the brand has focused on engineering first, aiming to build monitors that handle high SPL while keeping surgical accuracy - an approach proven early on with the iconic BB5 concept.
At the core of PMC designs is the Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™), a solution that differs fundamentally from typical bass-reflex ports. Instead of relying on a simple port, PMC uses an internal acoustic labyrinth to deliver bass that stays fast, deep, and controlled rather than boomy, while keeping a consistent tonal balance across listening levels - useful even when working quietly without losing midrange detail.
Because of this reliability, PMC monitors are used in demanding studios and production contexts, and in Wired Tunes we offer key solutions from the brand, including the popular result6 series as a strong entry into professional monitoring. Choosing PMC means investing in a tool that helps you make faster, more confident mix decisions and translates well across different playback systems.
