Expand your studio setup with the SSL ALPHA 8 – a powerful AD/DA converter and USB interface that serves as the perfect companion to the SSL 18 interface or as the heart of a hybrid studio. Featuring 8 analog line inputs/outputs and 10 digital channels (ADAT & S/PDIF), the ALPHA 8 delivers pristine 32-bit / 192 kHz conversion with a dynamic range of up to 123 dB. With DC-coupled outputs, it can send Control Voltage (CV) signals to modular synthesizers, making it a versatile tool for electronic music producers.

More than just an expander, the ALPHA 8 functions as a fully-fledged USB-C audio interface with flexible signal routing, allowing simultaneous recording and playback across all I/O. Each analog channel features individually configurable operating levels (+9 to +24 dBu), ensuring perfect matching with outboard gear, mixers, and instruments. All housed in a robust 1U rack chassis with an intuitive control panel and precise LED metering.
