The 5-foot DC Main Cable is the required connection between a Wunder Audio PSU and the first 19" rack module in any Blue Box or Black Box-powered setup. Without it, no DC voltage reaches the modules — it is not an optional accessory but a mandatory component for any rack configuration using PEQ1R, PEQ2R, PAFOUR, or PAFOUR Plus units. This is the cable that initializes the entire power chain.

First Link in the DC Power Chain

The DC Main Cable runs from the DC output of the Blue Box or Black Box PSU directly into the DC input of the first 19" rack module. The 5-foot length gives enough reach to handle standard rack configurations where the PSU and modules may sit in different rack bays or at separate heights within the same rack. For multi-module setups, each subsequent unit in the chain connects via the 1-foot daisy-chain cable (sold separately) — but the DC Main is always the first and only cable that originates at the PSU itself.

Compatibility and System Context

The cable is compatible with all Wunder Audio 19" rack modules powered by the Blue Box or Black Box PSU. The Black Box supports up to 12 PEQ2R modules or up to 4 PAFOUR units; the Blue Box covers up to 4 PEQ2R or 2 PAFOUR units. At any scale within those configurations, the 5' DC Main Cable is the starting point. The PAFOUR Plus documentation explicitly lists this cable as a required purchase alongside the PSU itself, making it a practical necessity to order alongside any new Wunder Audio rack module.
