A guitar effect is the cheapest way to change the sound of your whole rig without swapping the amp. This collection covers single pedals, full multi-effects units, and modelers and load boxes that let you record a guitar track straight into your interface.
A single pedal does one thing well — pedalboards get built out of them, one at a time, around your own playing style. A multi-effect packs a dozen-plus effects into one box with recallable presets, which on stage means one footswitch instead of five. A modeler goes further and recreates the whole signal chain — amp, cab and mic — so you plug straight into a console or interface.
Want one box instead of a whole rig? HeadRush Core or Hotone Ampero II Stomp are what we recommend most. Recording quietly at home? IK Multimedia TONEX captures your own amp's tone in software. Already own a loud tube head and need to record it without waking the neighbours? Pair it with a modulation and reverb unit like Eventide H90 for studio-grade ambience on top of whatever amp you're running.
We carry Eventide, Two Notes, IK Multimedia and Kemper.
The biggest difference between us and a mail-order shop: you can hear the gear before you buy it. Our showroom at Nowogrodzka 6A/102 in Warsaw is there so you can try it on your own material, not a shop demo. Book a visit or just swing by — we'll help without the sales pitch. Call: +48 573 580 840.
On stage and in the studio, yes, provided your monitoring is good. It won't replace the physical feel of standing in front of a loud tube amp in a room — that's a different experience, not a worse sound.
A load box takes over a tube amp's power stage instead of a real cabinet, so you can crank the amp and record it quietly, straight into your interface.
A multi-effect to start — it's the cheaper way to find out which sounds you actually use. A pedalboard of individual pedals gets built later, once you know exactly what you need.
