Wolff Audio Console ST-16 Automation – an advanced version of the 16-channel ST console, featuring a "Flying Faders" analog automation system and a full complement of 32 500 Series modules.

The Automation version transforms the ST-16 into a powerful hybrid production center. Each of the 16 channels features a precise 100mm motorized fader, allowing for the recording of fader moves (level) and mutes in the analog domain, while also doubling as a DAW controller. The console is delivered as a "turnkey" system – fully loaded with 16 Wolff RefPre preamplifiers and 16 Wolff FREQ equalizers. This means the user gets ready-to-use, high-end signal paths on every channel without the need to purchase additional modules.

With 16 input channels (capable of summing up to 48 signals during mixdown) and automation, the ST-16 Automation perfectly bridges the gap between smaller controllers and large-format desks. The automation system operates in Absolute and Relative modes, allowing for precise mix editing. All unique features of the ST series are retained, such as swappable Tone Cards on summing buses, Grand Master mode, and the intuitive "Inline" workflow known from the world's largest studio consoles.
