Stager Microphone SR-3 is a passive figure-8 ribbon microphone with a longer ribbon than the SR-2N, delivering a flatter response, a tighter low end and extended top end with no active electronics adding to the noise floor. A machined aluminium body with an internal shockmount iso system protects the ribbon in transit and in a busy rack.

A 3 by 0.25 inch ribbon at 1.8 microns thick on neodymium magnets, paired with Stager's own toroidal transformer, delivers the detail and clarity larger ribbon mics are known for, without the noise floor an active circuit adds. It's built for the engineer who wants big-ribbon character without an electronic gain stage in the way.
