Stager Microphone SR-2N MP is a matched pair of two SR-2N ribbon microphones, built for stereo recording: drum overheads, string sections, piano or a spaced vocal choir pair. Each unit is individually measured and matched for sensitivity, so the stereo image comes out balanced without manual level correction.
Two ribbons, one matched stereo image
Both units share the same build as the standard SR-2N: a passive figure-8 design on neodymium magnets with Stager's in-house toroidal transformer. The pair ships with a dual stereo mount, ready for XY, ORTF or a spaced pair setup without extra accessories.
