The Top Plate mounts onto the standard M20 flange socket used on Solton subwoofers, replacing the distance pole with a flat bearing surface. This lets a full-range top sit directly on the subwoofer cabinet in configurations where keeping the overall stack low matters more than the acoustic separation gained by raising the top on a pole.
A low-profile monitor stack without a distance pole
A common problem when running a system as a stage monitor or side-fill in a low-ceilinged room: a distance pole raises the top to a height that's awkward at the edge of a stage or under a low ceiling. The Top Plate removes that piece from the mounting chain, giving a flat, stable surface right on top of the subwoofer, so the whole stack keeps a low profile without sacrificing a stable seat for the top.
A stable seat instead of improvised edge placement
Without a dedicated mounting plate, technicians often end up resting the top directly on the subwoofer's top edge, which on an uneven cabinet surface leads to an unstable placement and a real risk of the column shifting during a show. The Top Plate provides a leveled, purpose-built mounting surface that works with the existing M20 flange socket, removing the need for improvised shims or wedges during a fast setup.
