A Compact Bandpass Design Instead of a Large Box

Enclosing the driver in a bandpass chamber produces a high SPL over a narrow frequency range without growing the cabinet footprint, which matters when loading into smaller vans or working on tighter stages. A variable crossover point across 80-120 Hz along with ready-made presets at 80 Hz, 100 Hz, and 120 Hz make it quick to match the subwoofer to a specific mid-high cabinet without manually tuning filters. A cardioid preset limits rear bass radiation, helping keep the monitor mix clean at high output levels.

A Ready-Made Base for the Top Box

A built-in M20 flange on the top panel lets a fullrange cabinet sit directly on top of the subwoofer, building a complete, portable point-source system without a separate stand. A reinforced enclosure with polyurea coating and a metal grille backed with acoustically transparent foam protect the electronics and driver during heavy touring use, and side handles plus built-in wheel preparation make the 55 kg cabinet easier to move.
