Solton SIERA

Solton SIERA is an active linear source system built for medium-throw applications where consistent, wide-area coverage matters as much as raw output. The package pairs a Colinear Source top cabinet with a dual-15" subwoofer — both self-powered — into a complete plug-and-play solution that eliminates the need for external amplifiers or outboard DSP.

Colinear Source Array — controlled dispersion, real throw

The SIERA Top runs six 5" mid-frequency drivers alongside two 1.75" Neodymium HF compression drivers, each pair mounted on independently angled waveguides. The result is a 120° horizontal by 20° vertical polar pattern: broad audience coverage with minimal energy wasted on ceilings or walls. A maximum SPL of 137 dB at 1 m gives the system enough headroom to handle demanding live applications without running the limiters hot. The slim 180 mm depth keeps the cabinet visually unobtrusive in fixed installations — bars, nightclubs, houses of worship — while the same enclosure works equally well stacked on the sub for portable events.

Sub, DSP and connectivity — no extra gear required

The SIERA Sub uses two 15" aaCRAFT woofers in a bass-reflex enclosure, extending down to 35 Hz (-10 dB) with 1000 W continuous and 4000 W peak power. The onboard DSP in both sections provides four factory presets covering the most common use scenarios, independent Top and Sub level controls, a Mic/Line input with switching, and a Mix OUT that feeds additional zones or recording without a separate mixer in the chain. Bluetooth TWS links two SIERA systems wirelessly — useful for stereo spread in installations where running signal cables between cabinets is impractical. Enclosures are built from 15 mm birch plywood with a dual-layer polyurea coating and an acoustically transparent, water-repellent fabric-backed grille, making the system suitable for semi-outdoor or high-humidity environments.
