Operating on standard 24V or 48V phantom power, it works seamlessly with handheld audio recorders, field recorders, mixer adapters, and built-in preamps on camcorders and cinema cameras. The switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter effectively removes low-end rumble from air conditioners, traffic, and other environmental noise. With a maximum SPL of 139 dB before distortion, the NTG1 handles loud sound sources with ease. The 8.6-inch (219mm) body length provides excellent reach while maintaining portability.
