Polyend Press is a fully analog stereo compressor in a pedal enclosure, built around a VCA circuit. It works at the end of the chain, gluing a mix, a pedalboard or a drum bus together, and its stereo ins and outs mean it no longer has to sit in front of your time-based effects.
Stereo compression where the pedalboard ends
Pedal compressors usually work in mono and demand a slot at the start of the chain, which leaves reverb and delay running loose. Press takes a stereo signal on 6.3 mm jacks and closes the chain: reverb tails stop jumping, a synth stops climbing over everything else, and the level across the whole board evens out without losing depth.
A sidechain that decides what triggers it
High-pass and low-pass filters act on the detector signal only, so bass weight or a kick will not push the compressor into pumping, while the tone passing through stays untouched. A dedicated footswitch flips the detector between the signal itself and an external stereo source. A mix control gives you parallel compression, and the Tilt EQ lifts the top at the expense of the bottom, or the reverse, on the wet signal alone.
