PMC 12 XBD is an advanced mid-to-far-field monitoring system, serving as the expanded XBD version of the PMC12 model. In this configuration, each channel is equipped with two powerful 12-inch (300mm) Radial™ drivers—one in the main monitor and one in the XBD cabinet. This architecture provides not only a 3 dB increase in dynamic headroom but also superior room coupling, delivering a smoother low-frequency response and impactful bass punch, perfect for demanding music genres and film post-production.
Both the main monitor and the XBD module utilize Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) technology supported by aerodynamic LaminairX™ vents, eliminating air noise and ensuring fast, precise bass. The system is powered by advanced digital control: the master36 unit drives the main monitor, while the XBD module is powered by the dedicated power20 amplifier. The entire setup is managed via the SoundAlign2™ platform, ensuring perfect phase integration between cabinets and allowing for precise system calibration to the studio environment.
