PMC 10-4 XBD represents the pinnacle of the new Main Monitor Series, an expanded version of the PMC10-4 system featuring a dedicated XBD bass cabinet. In this configuration, the system comprises two twin low-frequency modules per channel (each housing four 10-inch drivers), totalling eight 10-inch (250mm) Radial™ drivers per side. This architecture not only delivers sound on a monumental scale with extreme SPL capabilities but also increases low-frequency headroom by an additional 3 dB, ensuring effortless dynamics even in the largest recording and mastering control rooms.

Like the main module, the XBD cabinet utilizes Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) technology with LaminairX™ vents. Combined with the doubled piston area, this ensures ultra-fast transient response and distortion reduced to an absolute minimum. The entire system is managed by the advanced SoundAlign2™ DSP environment, driven by a combination of master36 controllers (for the main module) and dedicated power20 amplifiers (for the XBD section), delivering massive Class-D power perfectly phase-aligned for a cohesive sonic image.
