Improved DAW Integration

Launchkey supports all major DAW software right out of the box, with smooth, custom integration for: Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason Studios, Reaper, FL Studio, and Ardour. This gives you a hardware workflow that provides full control over transport functions, timeline navigation, mixing and audio tuning, launching clips, and instrument and effect parameters. And while using the session view in Ableton Live or live loops in Logic, the 16 drum pads also serve a dual function as Launchpad-style clip launchers with RGB backlighting that perfectly matches what you see on the screen.

More Advanced Creative Tools

The creative tools on Launchkey 25 mk4 are built directly into the hardware—so they work just as well in your DAW, with hardware synths, or on mobile devices. Scale modes now allow you to lock the keyboard to one of 30 different scales to eliminate wrong notes and even map everything to just the white keys. Fixed Chord mode triggers full chords from a single key, and the new chord maps go even further, allowing you to create emotional progressions using the Launchkey pads. The latest iteration of the beloved arpeggiator makes it easier than ever to twist and mutate your sequences for endless inspiration.

FSR Pads

For finger drummers, Launchkey now offers patented, velocity-sensitive FSR drum pads with polyphonic aftertouch. Unlike standard pads, each one features a unique radial sensor that increases sensitivity and improves consistency, providing even better performances. They can also be set to trigger chords or individual notes with polyphonic aftertouch.

Play Your Way with Custom Modes

The controls on Launchkey are not limited to the default assignments; simply load the free Components software in your browser and configure them to behave exactly how you want with software or hardware. You can save up to four custom mappings for both the Launchkey pads and its encoders, and then recall them instantly from the hardware to send selected notes, MIDI CC, or program changes.

The five-pin MIDI output of Launchkey 25 mk4 makes it easy to connect a hardware synthesizer—no DAW required. With the components and custom mappings, you can take control of all the essential functions directly from the keyboard.
