Nektar Panorama CS12

Nektar Panorama CS12 is a channel strip controller built for Logic Pro and also supporting Cubase and Nuendo. It gives full control over the selected channel: its parameters, plug-ins, Smart Controls and transport — from one narrow unit beside the computer keyboard.

One channel, but handled completely

Control surfaces with eight strips look impressive and usually end with you working on the one selected channel anyway. The CS12 inverts that idea: instead of eight cut-down strips it gives one complete strip. A high-precision motorised fader, a pan encoder and dedicated Arm, Solo, Mute and Select buttons — all for the channel you are working on right now.

The display shows the plug-in, not a controller number

A 3.5-inch TFT screen shows plug-in names and control assignments, so you do not have to remember what each knob does. Three assignable encoders beside the display and four buttons handle parameters and page switching. In practice your hand stays on the controller for the whole mix session.
