Nektar FP-1

Acorn FP-1 is a universal footswitch from Acorn Instruments, Nektar's budget line. It works with any device that has a standard TS footswitch jack: a keyboard, a module, an effects processor.

A polarity switch: works with any keyboard

Instrument makers never agreed on one standard, so the same pedal sustains on one keyboard and does exactly the opposite on another. A polarity switch settles that once: you flip it and the pedal behaves correctly regardless of the brand.

A proven design and a long cable

This is a simple, long-proven arrangement with no electronics to fail. A cable of around 1.8 metres gives you slack to put the keyboard where it is comfortable rather than where the lead reaches. At a rig with several instruments that slack matters more often than you would think.
