The MOTU M4 is a compact yet powerful interface designed for Mac, PC, and iOS devices. It features two combo XLR/TRS inputs with Hi-Z for direct guitar recording and 48V phantom power for condenser microphones. Two additional balanced line inputs provide extra flexibility when recording instruments or external gear. Thanks to premium ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC technology, the M4 delivers crystal-clear sound with up to 120 dB dynamic range and impressively low noise floor (-129 dBu EIN).

A full-color LCD display provides real-time input and output level monitoring. The built-in loopback function allows for routing audio back to your computer – ideal for livestreaming and podcasting. The M4 also features four TRS line outputs, four RCA outputs, and a dedicated headphone output with independent volume control. It’s powered via USB-C and built with a rugged metal chassis. Included software packages Performer Lite 10, Ableton Live Lite 10, and a 6 GB sound library make it ready for music production out of the box.
