Morphor Mixer – 5 Channel Amplifier — a five-channel analogue mixer in an 8HP Eurorack format, built to sum both audio and CV signals. Each of the five channels carries its own attenuator and mute switch, and an AC/DC switch on the rear decides whether inputs pass DC content, which is needed when mixing control voltages. The output stage adds an extra gain stage that can double the level of the mixed signal, while a clipping LED on the master output warns before the sum starts to distort. Master mute silences the entire output in one move, with no cables to pull.
One mixer for audio and CV
A conventional AC-coupled audio mixer strips the DC content and won't work for mixing control voltages - envelopes, LFOs, or CV sequences lose their offset and drift. The AC/DC switch on the back of the Mixer flips the module in one step from standard audio summing to full DC-coupled CV mixing, so the same unit works as a submixer for drums or mono voices as well as a modulation mixer combining several CV sources into one composite control signal.
Instant playability on stage
Five independent mute switches let you cut and bring back individual channels in real time, without touching an attenuator or risking an accidental level change - useful for improvised shifts mid-performance. Master mute silences the whole sum in one move, and the final gain stage, with its option to double the signal, compensates for low input levels without pre-boosting each channel individually. A clipping LED on the output gives instant feedback the moment the sum crosses a safe range.
