McDSP APB-8

McDSP APB-8 is the eight-channel version of the Analog Processing Box, the same patented, digitally controlled analog processing platform in a smaller format for studios that do not need sixteen channels at once.

Same circuit, lower entry point

Inside runs the same patented McDSP circuitry with multiple independent analog saturation paths and 32-bit AKM converters found in the larger APB-16, the only difference is channel count. That makes it a sensible starting point for a studio that wants to try DAW-controlled hardware processing without committing to the full sixteen channels right away.

The same session integration

Automation and recall run sample-accurate, so settings come back identical every time the project reopens, and the included McDSP plug-in bundle drives the unit without extra purchases. AAX, AU, and VST3 formats and the low-latency mode for Pro Tools 2023.12+ are identical to the APB-16.
