Lynx Studio AES16e

Lynx Studio AES16e is a professional PCI Express audio interface offering 16 channels of AES/EBU digital I/O at up to 192 kHz sample rate. Designed for seamless integration with digital consoles, multichannel A/D converters, hard disk recorders, and DAW systems, it delivers high-performance digital audio connectivity in studio and broadcast environments.

As a successor to the classic AES16, the AES16e leverages the high bandwidth of the PCI Express architecture to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure maximum throughput. It supports both single-wire and dual-wire AES modes, offers transformer-isolated I/O, and includes a built-in digital mixer for advanced routing and monitoring. The optional SRC version provides 16 channels of sample rate conversion with up to 144 dB dynamic range and ultra-low distortion. The onboard SynchroLock technology provides jitter-free clocking for pristine signal integrity.

With full support for ASIO and WDM on Windows and CoreAudio on macOS, the AES16e is ideal for mission-critical digital audio installations requiring reliable multichannel AES connectivity with flexible routing, clocking, and ultra-low latency performance.
