LOVE Synthesizers FIRST LOVE White is the white finish of the standalone FM synthesizer from Reykjavik: four multitimbral parts, a 7 inch touchscreen and physical knobs, buttons and pressure-sensitive pads.
Four timbres at once, and morphing between them
Each of the four parts runs its own four-operator FM engine and can be polyphonic or monophonic. The central waveform on the touchscreen handles smooth transitions between timbres in real time, so moving from a pluck to a pad is not a preset change but a finger movement while you play.
Tuning beyond equal temperament
The microtonal tuner stores up to 256 user scales, either quantized or freely tuned. For work outside the Western tradition, or with tuning systems of your own, that means the instrument does not impose twelve semitones on you. Alongside it sit morphing envelopes, a flexible modulation matrix and effects running from ordinary reverb and delay through to Freezer and Bit-Cruncher.
