Looptrotter SAT-500

Looptrotter SAT-500 is a single-channel 500-series module carrying the same saturation circuit behind the sound of Looptrotter's larger units, in a format that fits any 500-series rack. It is built for adding density and evening out level without the obvious signature of a compressor.

One channel, full control over the band

LO SAFE protects the lowest frequencies from overdriving the saturation circuit, which matters on a bass-heavy vocal or a kick with a long sustain tail. HI SMOOTH does the opposite for the top end, boosting it before saturation and pulling it back after, so cymbals and sibilants gain harmonic richness instead of turning harsh. That lets a single SAT-500 channel handle material that would otherwise need EQ on both sides of the saturation stage.

Saturation you can see, not guess

The PROCESS button runs true bypass, and two LEDs mark THD at the 4% and 8% thresholds, so Drive gets dialed in by watching the indicators instead of guessing during loud monitoring. Independent DRY/WET control keeps saturation as a parallel effect rather than an all-or-nothing decision.
