The lesson mode draws on a library of 155 songs with a built-in grading system — no external app or subscription needed. Key Light shows exactly which key to press next, useful both for absolute beginners and for learning new repertoire by sight. The arpeggiator converts held chords into melodic patterns instantly, while the MIDI recorder captures performances for playback and review. Split and Layer let you combine sounds across the keyboard without an external controller or expander in the signal chain.
Portable, connected, battery-ready
The KP90L runs on a 12 V DC adaptor or six AA batteries, making it genuinely gig-bag portable. The 2 x 3 W stereo speaker system handles small-room practice without external monitors. A 1/4" TS mic input accepts a microphone or acoustic instrument signal directly, while the stereo 1/4" line input and output cover connection to an external audio source or recorder. USB carries MIDI to a Mac or PC without drivers. At 4 kg and under 95 cm wide, it fits in any car boot and most keyboard bags.
